Hello, my name is James Oplinger, a trained finish carpenter. I have a an 18 year old son named Daniel. This request is unusual but here is the situation. I am having heart tests run on me at WellStar Hospital in Kennesaw. I have been admitted and doing well. I want my son to stay with me in the room--and the hospital is okay with it, except they say protocol states there must be another individual present at the hospital. I am looking for someone to just "be" at the hospital for the hours of 7 p/m. to 8 a.m. You too can sleep. I just have someone "officially" there. (I am divorced). The hospital staff is terrific and as much as they want to bend the rules for me, they insist I have someone else to be close by. You can read, get on the Internet, sleep, watch TV--whatever.
